MEET REALRAP'S OVA SABI

My real name is John Abah Aveyard. Also known as Oche amogst friends but I answer to OVA SABi when it comes to music. My mother is from Benue State and my father is from England, my father worked in Nigeria for around 25 years. I spent my very ealry years in Nigeria before returning to England for school at aged 4. I am a graduate in Media and Video Production and have a real passion for video production as well as music. I visited Nigeria at times but had no desire or interest in going there until I returned for a family holiday when I was 18. At first I hated it and couldnt understand the place but after some time I grew to love everything about it including the music. 2face, P square and (ice were the 3 artists that made me love Nigerian music. I never had plans of doing music myself, all I knew is that I had an ability to write well. When I returned to Nigeria for Christmas 2011 I met Soulz, he encouraged me to go to the studio and since then I love writing and recording music. If it wasnt for Soulz I would not be involved in music at all. As I am far away from my RealRap team continuing with music has been hard so I released a mixtape track called '3rd World weekend' (a cover of A$AP Rocky's wassup). I did this just to show everybody that I have ability and that I can do it. When I come back to Nigeria later this year and reunite with my team, things can only get better. With God by my side I hope to realize all my hopes and dreams when I return to my mother's country of Nigeria
